Technician - Chargeman [Malaysia]
· Implement power plant standard operating procedures related to electrical and instrumentation activities - operations, inspection and maintenance. Responsible for document update and revision as required.
· Responsible to carry out inspections (supervise, manage and maintain) and repairs of the entire electrical installation of any facilities and monitor the performance of low voltage facilities and equipment (including transformers, main switch boards, inverters, electrical motors (AC & DC), and all electrical / instrument wirings.
· Ensure equipment operations related to electrical and instruments are always maintained at optimum performance with minimum downtime.
· Ensure all works are carried out in accordance with specifications and approved procedures provided in Act 447 Electricity Supply Act 1990 and Regulations 1994 with updated enactments.
· Monitor performance of sub-contractors' work and ensure jobs are performed according to contract requirement, regulation and internal procedures.
· Responsible to assist plan and execute required regulatory routine inspections (Energy Commission, Fire Department DOSH, DOE).
· Responsible to plan and execute preventive, predictive and corrective maintenance of entire facility’s electrical installation, power supply, firefighting and air compressor system including substations at each section.
· Responsible to assist in spare part management system (with minimum stock level control, consumption and selection of correct spare parts)
· Responsible for records, reports and statistical analysis generation, filing and maintenance, including routine reporting in accordance to legal and statutory regulatory requirements as required by Energy Commission.
· Responsible to assist plan, execute and monitor energy conservation activities. A key team player of energy management team.
· Ensure any new installation and/or maintenance works are safe, correct in accordance to all local authorities and responsible for commission works once works are completed, regardless the works are carried out by in-house team or external contractors.
· Responsible to liaise with utilities providers such as TNB, Suruhanjaya Tenaga and other regulatory bodies on utility services and compliance issues.
· Responsible for full compliance to all electrical safety procedures, general safety & health procedure, environmental procedures, hygiene procedures and 5S execution.
· Good housekeeping related to all electrical installations.
· To undertake any other duties and assignments assigned by the Management as and when required

Salary: RM6,000.00 - RM6,083.00 per month
